Remove scale and hard water deposits with
water conditioning products!
Water is considered hard if it contains excessive amounts of calcium
and magnesium. These minerals create scale which leads to reduced
water flow through pipes. With hard water, there’s that nasty
buildup that encircles your bathtub or shower. Hard water can also
wreak havoc on your appliances and cause soaps and detergents to
lose their effectiveness. Worst of all, if hard water deposits make
your clothes dingy, stain your sinks, spot your glasses and clog
your pipes, you can imagine the effect the deposits are having on
your skin.

1. The solution to hard water is to get rid of excess calcium and magnesium. A water softener trades the minerals for sodium in a process called ion exchange.
2. When the ion exchange resin is saturated with calcium and magnesium, it must be recharged. A strong brine solution enters the tank and flushes calcium and magnesium ions off the resin.
3. Unused brine is rinsed from the system, and the water conditioner is now fully recharged and ready to furnish soft water to your home.
